Boys & Girls U6

The U6 academy is designed for players born in 2017, 2018, and 2019. Its main focus is an introduction to the game of soccer through fun and play. The emphasis at this age is on the individual player and the skills necessary to control and manipulate the ball. Additionally, players are exposed to a variety of essential soccer skills and a love of the game by playing fun activities in small groups supervised by club trainers. Teams are co-ed. The academy normally meets every saturday morning and tends to run all year round with numerous small breaks dispersed throughout the year. Each session is composed of 40 minutes of fun activities that introduce the basic concepts of soccer followed by 20 minutes of small-sided game play.
